Tooth breaks or hurts

Being an emergency dentist in Pembroke Pines means getting calls from people in pain. Doing much cosmetic dentistry means I am always telling patients not to wait till the tooth breaks or hurts. 


Still most people follow the old saying, “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.”  If that saying was true, why am I fixing so many broken teeth? Almost everyday I get a call from someone in pain or they have a swollen face or a tooth has broken.
